roots/lovesongs Most reggae fans dont know Me and You have performed a wide range of genres including roots from their earliest recordings. These 10 never before released tracks are a strong roots flavoured album which includes some excellent love songs. Reggae anthem The Abyssinians' Satta Massagana is reworked and retitled There Is A Land with solid backing from Bob Marleys Wailers Band. Dreadlocks in Moonlight (with The Upsetters) is written and produced by the legendary Lee Perry who was responsible for a large chunk of Marleys output. Cant Stop Natty Dread s backed by The Revolutionaries. The love songs includes one which shares the chorus of Al Campbells Gee Baby two soulful Chuck Jackson songs, and the excellent Natural High originally by Bloodstone backed by the Wailers Band.
